FAQ

Answers for your first class and beyond.

Get clear answers about what to bring, where to start, and how to choose the right class.

Do I need experience before my first class?

No. Beginners are welcome. If you are not sure where to start, contact the gym and we will help you pick the right first class.

What should I bring to my first class?

Bring workout clothes, water, and a willingness to learn. If you are unsure whether to wear gi or no-gi gear, contact the gym before your first visit and match the class you plan to attend.

Can I try a class before joining?

Yes. Adults can ask about a free intro class before signing up.

Is there a kids program?

Yes. The kids program focuses on confidence, teamwork, self-defense, and a safe learning environment.

How do I know which class is right for me?

Use the Schedule page first, then compare it with the Programs page. If you are still unsure, call the gym and ask which session is best for a first visit.

Is the top-students page a skill ranking?

No. It reflects recent BJJChat attendance check-ins, not belt promotion, competitive ranking, or coaching authority.
